The HFI Practitioner Internship.
A structured 12-week program built to take students and early-career practitioners from coursework to real federal compliance, AI governance, and workforce engagements, under direct mentorship from senior cleared advisors.
Aligned to the NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework and DoD 8140 work roles, with structured certification support and direct exposure to live client work.

WORKFORCE PIPELINE MISSION
Building the Federal Practitioner Pipeline.
HFI is committed to closing the federal cybersecurity, GRC, and AI governance workforce gap. We partner with universities, workforce boards, and federal apprenticeship programs to create structured pathways from classroom to cleared practitioner.
University Partnerships
Active partnerships with cybersecurity, public policy, and IT programs at HBCUs and regional universities, providing live case studies, guest instruction, and direct recruiting pathways.
Apprenticeship Pathways
Building DOL-registered apprenticeship and CyberCorps-aligned tracks for entry-level GRC analysts and AI governance practitioners, with structured wage progression.
Veteran & Transition Programs
We prioritize hiring transitioning service members and military spouses into structured GRC and program management roles.
